For ArcadeTown, I did the game “The Black Knight: Get Medieval“, along with talented artist Brad Ferguson. The game is a great arcade smash ‘n bash game. I also did the music for this game.
For Shockwave.com, under SayDesign, I developed, programmed and did the music for the game “Domino Dementia“, a fun puzzle game where you must move and rotate falling dominoes into position to create matches, and clear the board.
I’m sitting here in the internet cafe at the hotel, The New Yorker Hotel, for Flashforward. What an amazing conference so far. I did my talk today – it was lots of fun. Everyone was really responsive and I didn’t even notice that I had gone 15 minutes over my 1 hour. New York city…
It was lots of fun to work on and brought me into some new technologies, challenges and problem-solving. Development mixed Blueprints and C++ in Unreal Engine, and got to work with the Optitrack motion capture tracking system, Striker gun system, as well as the iKinema IK solution along with the Vivox VOIP system.
For Nikelab.com, a cool site run by Nike, I programmed the game “Catch The Train”, for the promotion of their new Shox NZ shoes. Unfortunately, no longer available online to play.
I did a talk on games at Flash Kit in 2001, when games were just starting to become feasible in Flash. Ironically, the talk was on games in general, but also on how one would integrate them to 3D – which was simply not done at the time. It was a lot of fun, in…
